Anton Cebalo is a writer and historian whose work has been published in Noema, The Guardian, The Brooklyn Rail, Palladium, 3 Quarks Daily, and other publications. His writing likes to combine literary, historical, and everyday observational perspectives. He also publishes the newsletter novum on Substack, which has thousands of subscribed readers.
He received his BA in history from Cornell University in 2017 and an MA in history from Leiden University in 2021.
Although primarily a writer, Anton is also the co-founder of Birthday Cat, a production house for strange and dramatic storytelling in film, theater, and TV.
