Anton Cebalo is a writer and historian whose work draws on literary, historical, and everyday perspectives. He's written for Noema, The Guardian, The Brooklyn Rail, Palladium, 3 Quarks Daily, and other publications. He also publishes the newsletter novum on Substack.
He received his BA in history from Cornell University in 2017 and an MA in history from Leiden University in 2021.
Although primarily a writer, Anton is also the creative producer and co-founder of Birthday Cat, an independent production house based in Brooklyn, NY, working in film, theater and TV.
